Phone box - a sub committee headed by John Griffiths will look into refurbishment and possible grants
Planning apps discussed were 12 Northney Road, Curlews, Stubbington Barn, Yacht Haven and Antrims Barn
Current a/c £885 (after paying insurance of £210), dep a/c £2351
Membership 150
Village Hall management and status were discussed
Seawall repair - probably not this year
Neighbourhood watch - garden items (staddles and sundial) have been stolen recently

Welcome to Mike Dawe as new committee member, and Ray Jones back as co-opted member
Planning apps discussed were The Pines Copse Lane, 12 Northney Road, Yacht Haven, Antrims Barn
Current a/c £1085, dep a/c £2351
Membership 148 = 84 short of target
Phone box - a sub committee will be formed
Vice Chairman - volunteer wanted
Neighbourhood watch - details will be put on this website
Dog fouling - council will be contacted
Village Hall -
new members on their committee
grants being sought
maintenance, finances, H & S, constitution being sorted
Stoke Common - rumour it has been sold again to developer. We will watch out for planning application
Deer - are they a problem? No! - we like them!

Notes from May 2010 Committee meeting:

Planning applications considered were 14 Clovelly Road, Meadowsweet, Stubbbington Barn and Northney Marina
The phone box has had its workings removed
Our comments on the Shoreline Management Plan have been acknowledged
Sea Defences - it is hoped that more work can be arranged for this summer
Finances - we were given 2 donations totalling £65 at the AGM in April
Members - we have 133 paid up members. Approx another 100 still to pay
Committee - the requirement for a Vice Chairman was brought up and will be discussed more fully at the next meeting in June
