MEMBERSHIP

Our membership is the heart of our Residents Association. Without a strong membership, we are unable to represent and protect this beautiful area we live in.

Luckily, over the past few years we have seen our membership grow from around the 160 mark to the 226 we achieved in 2012; this is the highest we’ve ever had.

Reasons to join:

  • Active responses to local issues including: Flooding, Planning, Sea defences and Traffic Management
  • Regularly updated website with useful information including updates of planning applications in our area, on which your comments are invited.
  • Two open general meetings a year in the Spring and Winter - please do come along!
  • Occasional social events.
  • The Winter meeting in the Village Hall is followed by a free cheese and wine party which is always very well attended and good fun. It’s a great way to meet other villagers.
  • Adhoc emails to residents with information about what is going on in our area.

How to join:

Either drop an email to membership@nehra.org.uk with details of your name and address and I will contact you, or fill in the membership form and drop it in to me at 7 Northney Lane.

Renewals:

Many thanks to those who do renew promptly each year and Standing Orders continue to assist and maintain our high membership. The majority of Standing Orders have been updated as the membership fee has risen to £6 double/£3 for a single in 2013. Don’t worry if you haven’t done it yet, we’ll be in touch to work this out with you. If you wish to start renewing by Standing Order, just fill in the Standing Order from and drop it back to me.
